주요관심연구
1) 의료관리 및 정책개발 연구
보건의료가 국민건강을 증진시키고 질병으로부터 보호하기 위해서는 효율적이고 효과적인 보건의료 정책의 입안되고 시행, 평가될 필요가 있다. 이에 다양한 분야에서 필요한 의료관리 및 정책 개발 연구를 수행하고 있다. 주된 연구주제는 공공의료 발전방안, 공공의료기관에 대한 지불제대 개편 방안, 건강보험 수가 연구, 의료의 질 향상 연구 등이며 향후 다양한 보건의료 정책 연구로 영역을 확대할 계획이다.
2) 감염병 예방 및 관리 정책 연구
호흡기 감염, 병원 감염 등 점차 늘어나고 있는 감염병 유행에 대비?대응하기 위한 정책과 관리 기술을 연구하고 있다. 특히 감염병 전파 차단 기능의 공조장치와 영상 AI 기술, 보건의료 데이터 활용 등을 통한 감염병 관리 기술 개발로 확대할 계획이다.
3) 의료인문사회의학 교육 관련 연구
의학을 공부하는 학생이 미래의 바람직한 의사상을 정립하기 위해서 인문사회분야의 소양을 쌓는 것이 중요하다. 이에 인문사회 분야의 교육 커리큘럼을 개발하고 교육을 시행하며 교육의 효과를 평가하고 있으며 관련 분야의 연구를 수행하고 있다.
