주요관심연구

  • 건강노화와 후성유전학 연구실은 노화역학, 후성유전체역학, 만성질환역학을 중심으로 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 심혈관질환, 암, 및 기타 노화 관련 질환과 그에 영향을 미치는 임상역학적 위험 요인을 탐구하며, DNA 메틸화 기반 노화지표를 비롯한 다양한 후성유전체 바이오마커를 연구 대상으로 삼고 있습니다. 본 연구실은 국내외 여러 연구기관과 긴밀히 협력하여, 건강노화의 기전 규명과 질병 예방·예측을 위한 학문적·임상적 근거를 마련하는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

    1) 사회환경 및 임상역학적 요인과 가속노화·노화 관련 질환 연구
    생애주기적 관점에서 사회·문화·환경적 요인 및 임상역학적 위험 요인이 노화 및 노화 관련 질환에 미치는 영향을 규명
    가속노화와 심혈관·대사질환, 암, 인지저하·치매 등 주요 노화 관련 질환 간의 연관성 탐구

    2) 유전체·후성유전체 기반 노화 지표 및 바이오마커 연구
    DNA 메틸화 기반 후성유전체 노화 지표(epigenetic clock)를 비롯한 다양한 바이오마커 발굴
    후성유전학적 변이의 위험 요인 및 관련 질환과의 연관성 규명
    유전체와 후성유전체를 포함한 다중오믹스(multi-omics) 접근을 활용한 노화 및 건강 관련성 연구
