※ Prof. Kyung Soo Lee as the New Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs

SKKU-SOM is pleased to announce that Prof. Kyung Soo Lee has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs at Sungkyunkwan University.

Vice President Lee has graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine. He completed his Masters Degree at Seoul National University and PhD Degree at ChungAng University School of Medicine. He was appointed as a professor at SKKU School of Medicine in 1997, and made contribution in research, education and patient care. He also served as the Dean of School of Medicine from 2014 to 2017 and made distinguished accomplishments in the improvement of global repuation of SKKU-SOM.

As a clinical researcher, Vice President Lee is an eminent thoracic radiologist, who made study on early diagnosis, staging, treatment planning and prognosis prediction of lung cancer using imaging techniques. Vice President Lee was awarded with Asan Award in Medicine (Clinical Medicine) in 2014 through his excellent research outcomes.

Vice President Lee begins 2 years of his term as the Excecutive Vice President as of May 1.
