※ Prof. Yon Ho Choe appointed as the New Dean of SKKU-SOM

SKKU School of Medicine (SKKU-SOM) is delighted to welcome the new Dean, Prof. Yon Ho Choe, who has been appointed as the Dean of SKKU School of Medicine as of January 1.

Prof. Choe is a Pediatrician, who has long dedicated his career for medical education at SKKU School of Medicine. He has taken the position of Associate Dean of Education (2011-2015) and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs (2016-2017), leading the reformation of medical curriculum at SKKU-SOM.

Prof. Choe graduated from Seoul National University, College of Medicine and completed his MS and PhD at the same school. He was appointed as the assistant professor at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in 2001, and was appointed as the professor at SKKU-SOM in 2009. Prof. Choe was a visiting professor at Department of Membrane Biology at University of California Los Angeles from 2004 to 2005.
