※ A Special way to express gratitude on Teachers Day

This year, there was a special event to celebrate the Teachers Day at SKKU-SOM. Instead of preparing flowers for the professors, the student union at SKKU-SOM made donation to the Samsung Medical Center Social Responsiblity Office. The donated fund will be used to support patients with fiancial difficulties at SMC. 2million KRW was donated to SMC Office, and the representatives of the student union presented thank you letter and the certificate of donation to Dean Kyung Soo Lee.

"We wanted to express our gratitude for the professors but did not want to make issues regarding the anti-graft law. We thought that the donation for the patients with fiancial difficulties at the hospital would be a great way to show our appreciation and also to help support people in need just around us." Sangsoo Shin, the president of SKKU-SOM student union said.
