School of Medicine, Sung Kyun Kwan University (SOM) held an orientation for freshmen on February 24th, 2023. The orientation took place at the Medicine building, Natural Science Campus of SKKU. The event began with a greeting from Joo Heung Lee, the dean, and an introduction of the SOM. After the introduction, an explanation of academic policies, an overview of the curriculum, and a safety education session followed.

Dean stated, "SOM is a part of Sung Kyun Kwan University, which has a history of over 600 years and is the birthplace of humanities. Considering that, SOM aims to reflect on human existence as its ultimate goal." To his enthusiastic speech, freshmen responded with concentration and respect.

This year’s first event for our new students was successfully concluded with a warm welcome from senior students and faculties.
