Sungkyunkwan University and Kangbuk Samsung Hospital signed an agreement on joint research and development on December 23rd, 2019.

Through this agreement, the two institutions decided to go together on the way to promote research exchanges based on mutual cooperation and to produce outstanding research results. In this agreement, a total of four joint research projects will be supported primarily. Under the joint research theme, research will be carried out from January to December 2020 with the development of ▲ internal pressure sensors in the throat and esophagus ▲development of bio markers which can catch liver and metabolic diseases ▲  development of plasma-based ozone disinfection/sterilization ▲ development of ophthalmologist chatbot.

In this study, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital will provide medical staffs experience and field data, and universities will generate outstanding research results and elicitation synergies by applying bio, AI and engineering advanced knowledge based on it.
