In the recent “Best Global Universities Rankings” announced by US News, Sungkyunkwan University took 195 ^th place. The top 3 universities in Korea are Seoul National University (128 ^th ), Sungkyunkwan University (195 ^th ) and KAIST (252 ^nd ). Harvard University took first place in the ranking.

In this year’s ranking, the number of participating countries and universities have increased. The number of countries increased from 75 to 81 and 1500 universities were listed in the ranking.
