Graduate School of Basic Medical Science wins grants from National Research Foundation

Graduate School of Basic Medical Science (GSBMS) applied for the 2019 Basic STEM Research Project Grant from National Research Foundation, and 7 applicants were selected as the final grant winners.

Basic STEM Research Project is intended to support the researchers in basic sciences in order to widen the research basis and to strengthen the research competency.  The grant aims to select researchers with excellent basic research ability and creativity. The fact that 7 faculty members are selected for the grant proves the high competency of SKKU-SOM Basic Medical Science professors.

In result of the selection, SKKU-SOM Basic Medical Science faculty member will receive 3.7 million USD in the coming 3~5 years. This will eventually lead to the advancement of research and to high impact research outcomes.
