SKKU-SOM Open House for Parents

SKKU-SOM invited parents of MD program students on December 6, 2018 and held a Open House event. This event was intended to introduce the parents to the new clinical center, which has been newly opened in August. Over 140 parents attended the event to look around the new training facilities and to have meeting with the Dean and the Vice Deans.

The program began at 6:30PM with a standing reception at the lobby of the new clinical training center. The parents greeted each other and had communication with other parents. After the reception, the parents were invited inside the Hippocrates Hall for a meeting with the Dean and the Vice Deans. Dean Choe gave a brief presentation on the overview of SKKU-SOM, its specialty programs and its visiion for the future. The parents raised questions about various issues on student welfare and career issues. After the meeting session, the participants were divded in to 6 groups, where they were led by the Vice Deans to take a tour around the new facility.

SKKU-SOM appreciates all the parents for participating in the program, and look forward to communicating more actively with the parents regarding the development and the improvement of SKKU-SOM student satisfaction.
