During the 7th Korea-Russia University President Forum, which was held on November 28-29, Russian delegations visited Samsung Medical Center on November 29th.
The forum was held under the theme of "30 Years of Inter-Korean Exchanges and Future Cooperation: Vision for Cooperation in Humanities and Science and Technology: How to Build a Model for Cooperation in the Field of Humanities and Science." Chung Kyu-sang, the honorary president of SKKU, hosted the event on November 28th as chairman of the Education Science Division of Korea-Russia Dialogue.
On this day, SKKU-SOM discussed the current state of development through meetings with several universities such as Saint Petersburg National University, Pacific National University, National Higher Economics University, St. Petersburg National University (Polytec), Moscow National University of Foreign Studies, Ural Federal University, Novosibirsk National University, Irkutsk National University, Yeonhae National University, Northeast Federal University, and Peoples Friendship University of Russia. Dr. Lee Kyung-soo, the Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs, introduced the excellent convergence education and research skills of our medical school.
Launched in 2010 by the presidents of the two countries, the Korea-Russia President Forum has been held alternately between Korea and Russia since 2013 and marks its seventh anniversary this year. In particular, it held the 5th Korea-Russia President Forum at its natural science campus in November 2017, which brought awareness of the status of the school to Russia and more active exchanges with many Russian universities.
