|Title||Prof.Kwon met up SKKU-SOM Students at the UBC Summer Institute|
This summer, 25 students from SKKU-SOM participated in the Summer Program at the University of British Columbia(UBC). It was our second time to send a group of students on a global outbound program. The financial support for the program was provided with the program-based scholarship from the university, which encourages students to develop themselves through extra-curricular programs which can enrich their competency in various ways.
Sending a group of students on the UBC summer program for the first time, Professor Kwon, the Vice Dean of Education, visited UBC and had brief look around of the program. After, the Vice Dean and the program participants had supper together near by the campus. One of the student said "The good part of the program is that not only the medical students are taking courses, but also so variety of the majors, professions, nationalities, and races are participating. This helps us to open the diversified insight as a future medical doctor."
